Finally, our kitchen countertops arrive on a rainy spring day. They are a composite concrete-like material called ‘Fireslate’-- they do look like slate. They come in large sections and once again, we are hopeful that they will fit!!! The whole kcmodern crew comes to help lift in place. Once installed, the seams are sealed and several coats of tung oil are applied to the surface.
