Now that the cabinets are installed and we can cook in the new space (somewhat, considering the masonite ‘countertops’ while we wait for the real thing), it is time to demo the old kitchen, drywall and skim coat the living room ceiling, paint, and finally, get rid of that carpet. We are anxious to see the condition of the cork floors underneath. We have already re-finished one of the bedroom cork floors, and it looks beautiful
