We decided to move the kitchen to the small family room adjacent to the garage. This will give us a more spacious kitchen and will relieve the awkwardness of walking in to the kitchen from the front door. We are able to mirror the pluming wall into the new room, and still use the old kitchen while building the new one! Once the new kitchen is operable, we will dismantle the old and open it up to create a larger living room. The actually space occupied by the old kitchen will become the new dining area. We start by making lots of holes for the electrician, and relocating doors on both sides of the room.
