Our house appears to be a variation of the following ‘Operation Trade Secret’ house. Our house was custom-built in 1955 for a local family, who made changes to the plan such as enlarging the square footage and adding a bathroom between two bedrooms and vaulting all the ceilings. There are two other modernist homes in our neighborhood that look almost exactly like our house from the outside, but those homes were built by a different builder and adhere a bit more closely to the Trade Secrets floor plan. The blueprints below are the plans for those other two homes in our neighborhood. Upon talking to both the builder of our home or our neighbors’ homes, neither remember if the homes were specifically ‘Operation Trade Secrets’ houses, however in analyzing the floor plans, they are clearly based on the Trade Secrets idea.
