Just before the holidays, we found a great trim carpenter to help with finishing details. He finished the kitchen windows and doorways, and trimmed out the redwood beam in the living room. Then we worked on the new front door. The only big project that remains in the kitchen/ living remodel is repairing and refinishing the original cork floor... but we want to wait for our new windows to be installed in the back first. Meanwhile, we have moved back in the living room and are enjoying the feel of the space for the holidays.
